Conveniently located between the Simi and
San Fernando Valleys, The Villa is nestled in the rustic chaparral of the Santa Susana Mountains. Our studio and surrounding grounds offer sanctuary from the bustling world outside. It’s a place to come for learning, rejuvenation, artistic expression and fun!

Not just art classes, The Villa For The Arts offers a unique experience for beginning students and experienced artists.

THE VILLA CURRENTLY OFFERS SEVERAL CLASSES IN CERAMIC ARTS FOR KIDS, TEENS AND ADULTS:

 

 

Come and explore this ancient art medium and tap into your creative spirit!

Learning to craft with clay is extremely satisfying and lots of fun. With a working knowledge and little practice, anyone can do it!

Classes at The Villa are limited to just six students so each receives personal attention and instruction in a relaxed atmosphere. No previous art experience is necessary! Students work at their own pace without competition.

Whether concentrating on sculpting objects of art or throwing functional ware on the potter’s wheel, kids to seniors will discover the excitement and fulfillment of artistic expression in clay.

With views of the mountains and the front garden, our new studio is spacious, clean and well lit with state of the art equipment for the clay artist and student.

Those attending classes are invited to enjoy the grounds surrounding The Villa For The Arts including “The Villa Café” and the “Contemplation Garden”. Hiking trails into Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park are just a stone’s throw away.
